Nearly 100 business and civic leaders have been invited to celebrate with the Small Business Development Center team as we unveil our new downtown office. Attendees will have an opportunity to tour our new space, learn about our vision for the SBDC, and network with other prominent community leaders.

After 33 years in our previous location, the Small Business Development Center has moved to downtown Springfield. To celebrate, we are hosting a Grand Opening Celebration & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. I would be honored if you would be my guest.
The event is taking place on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at our new location in Clark State’s Brinkman Educational Center (100 S. Limestone Street, 4th Floor). While our grand opening is “by invitation only,” I encourage you to send someone on your behalf to represent your organization if you are simply unable to attend.
You will have an opportunity to tour our new office, learn about our vision for the SBDC, and network with other prominent community leaders. Joining me as speakers will be Springfield’s Mayor, Warren Copeland, Clark State Community College’s President, Dr. Jo Blondin, and SBDC’s Board President, Brock Burcham. Lunch will be provided.
