We are a group of local small business owners who are passionate about building companies that build our community. We follow a different set of business practices than most companies – we combine mission and profit to resolve important problems in our community. We combine the best parts of what non-profits and regular companies have to offer by focusing on the triple bottom line: money, environment, and social impact.

Meets every Tuesday at 7:30 AM for 60 minutes

The members of the Springfield Social Entrepreneurs Mastermind are driven to build successful businesses. But they also care deeply about their social impact, and they aren’t afraid to leverage their company’s resources and capabilities to drive changes that are going to make their hometown a better place to live.

In our meetings, we spend a lot of time talking about our “why.” Our reason for starting the business. What we hope it will be able to accomplish. And what we need to do right now in order to get one step closer to that ideal future we’re seeking. We share wisdom. We share our experiences. But most importantly, we hold each other accountable. We spur each other on because we know that when we are all making a difference with our lives and with the businesses that we own, we inevitably inspire others to do the same.

Each week, one member will take a ride in the HOT SEAT. This is their opportunity to present a particular opportunity or challenge that’s on their mind and receive feedback and guidance from their fellow Mastermind members. It’s an incredibly valuable experience.
